Where did you get that Name?
We are often ask about our name, so we want to take a moment and share the story with you -.the ravens hang out with the horses, sitting on top of their shelter, cleaning up bits of grain & hay, using their hair as nesting material, and generally keeping an eye on things. When they take off, as they're flying along, they sometimes tuck their wings tightly against their bodies and roll. As they do they make a sound
specific to that movement, a sound of joyful play, sheer fun and exuberance. Everytime we saw that menuever, we couldn't help but laugh at them. Don't know what that bond is between horses and ravens, but part of it has to be the playfulness they, and we al,l share.
