Classes and Sessions are all taught under the supervision of our Certified Instructor and can be custom designed to accomodate your busy schedule. Your place or ours, your horse or ours, if you have the desire, we will help you achieve your goals*.

Riding Instruction for Beginners/Begin Agains
Have you always wanted to learn to ride a horse?
Or were you a good rider a few years back, but getting back in the saddle is a little daunting? Come take classes with us and get back in the saddle with confidence. We offer safe, gentle and patient instruction in a supportive environment. We only offer riding lessons to the beginner or those begining to ride again after an absence. Take a single class or the entire series, all at your own pace and all designed to fit around your schedule. These classes incorporate the lessons from the Foundation Horsemanship sessions.

We want you to succeed! Bring three of your best friends and form your own riding group, adding more fun, greater discipline and your own support group as you move through the series.

Sessions

Foundation Horsemanship
Designed to take horses and humans back to the
basics with a emphasis on safety, and strictly hands on. We'll cover gathering, haltering, leading, grooming/hoof cleaning and saddleing as well basic first aid issues. Perfect for anyone who need a refresher/want more finesse with these basics, or for those who don't ride but work closely with horses such as facility managers, barn maintenance workers, grooms, and horsekeepers.

Basic Training These sessions get back to the fundamentals of good communication between horse and human.  Awareness of body language, mental clarity/intention, posturing, and understanding motivation/reward are all important elements that will be highlighted. Although this is basic groundwork, it is the initial step in the process of building relationship with your horse, and getting it right requires a high level of refinement.

Tune-Up Series  For those who are finding it difficult to spend enough quality time with their horses. We offer the same level of groundwork as presented in the Basic Taining sessions, but we do it all for you. Whether you want temporary help while on vacation, are looking for long term assistance on groundwork while you focus on your riding or need more coaching while as work with your horse, this series is for you. Using gentleness, patience and persistance, we will keep your horse tuned up until your ready to take the reins. We will ride your horse, or just do the groundwork - your choice.

*Fees start at $40 per hour for individuals, at our facility with one of our horses, and are adjusted from this point according to the needs of our clients. Please contact us to discuss fees to accomodate your individual requirements.
